1944년에 개장한 동남부 해안 최고의 해산물 재래시장으로, 부산 인근에서 가장 싱싱한 해산물을 저렴하게 구입할 수 있는 곳이다. 시장 안에 형성된 대게골목으로도 유명하다. (인근에 동해선 “기장역” 위치) ▸주변관광지 : 기장읍성, 대변항, 죽성성당
